Clydebank 5k

Fast times have become synonymous with the Clydebank 5k and this year proved no exception with eight runners dipping under 15 minutes. Jack Heathwood, Gregor Yates and David Mackintosh led the Harrier charge with only one second separating the trio who all ran new PBs.

A Clydebank regular, Brian Douglas broke the 17 minute barrier for the first time, having run sub 17:10 on no less than five occasions. Robbie Ferguson wasn't far behind in a time of 16:54, nearly thirty seconds quicker than his previous best over the distance.

Calum Ferguson gave the 18 minute mark a scare, recording an 18:09 clocking. Bernadette O'Neil was the first Harrier lady home running 19:32.

Angela Campbell (21:34) and Suzanne Boyle (22:09) were the final two Harriers competing and both went home with new personal bests.
